2010 Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept



Cadillac unveiled the Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept at the 2010 North American International Auto Show. The Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept is powered by a plug-in hybrid system with 3.6L Direct Injection gas engine (with variable valve timing) and a lithium-ion battery pack, The system provides an estimated 350 horsepower (260 kW) and 295 lb.-ft. of torque (400 Nm).



The Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept interior features a leather seats, with a laser-etched pattern. The patterned material adorns the center sections of the seats and accents the door trim. Thoughtfully detailed stitching is used throughout the interior, including the seats, instrument panel and door panels. Passengers in the spacious rear compartment of the Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept also have access to the car’s connectivity feature, along with a range of infotainment choices.

Like the interior, the exterior elements are precisely tailored and elegantly detailed. Brushed billet aluminum trim is used selectively and the 20-inch, 11-spoke wheels feature a brushed aluminum face accented with bright inserts within the spokes. The wheels are wrapped with special Bridgestone tires that were created specifically for the Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept.

2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe



The 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe which debuts at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit comes with the LSA 6.2L supercharged V-8 engine also found on the CTS-V Sport Sedan. Rated at 556 horsepower (415 kW) and 551 lb.-ft. of torque (747 Nm), it is the most powerful engine offered in Cadillac’s history and propels the CTS-V Coupe from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. A pair of six-speed transmissions is offered in the CTS-V Coupe: a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual with a dual-disc clutch and a Hydra-Matic 6L90 six-speed automatic with paddle-shift control.





CTS-V includes sophisticated braking and tire systems, in partnership with two companies renowned for high-performance technology: Brembo and Michelin. Brembo brakes are at all four corners and include powerful, six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers in the rear. Michelin partnered with Cadillac engineers to develop its acclaimed Pilot Sport PS2 summer tire for CTS-V and its exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels. The tires support high levels of grip in track conditions, while also affording good performance on the road.

2010 GeigerCars Cadillac CTS V



GeigerCars.de has launched an upgrade program for the four-door Cadillac CTS-V. The GeigerCars Cadillac CTS-V is powered by the standard 6.2 liters V8 equipped with an intercooler and compressor that has received an increased the air charge pressure. The GeigerCars Cadillac CTS-V develops 619 HP at 5900 rpm and 850 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm with a maximum speed of 330km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.
