2009 Honda CR-Z Concept










The latest version of Honda CR-Z Concept 2009 will be revealed at October’s Tokyo Motor Show.

The Honda CR-Z sporty hybrid concept is the most recent prototype of a compact, agile coupe using Honda’s IMA technology. When the production version goes on sale in the UK next summer 2010, it will be the world’s first sports hybrid car, and the first ever petrol-electric vehicle to employ a 6-speed manual transmission.

2011 REVA NXG







Styled by Dilip Chhabria, the REVA NXG is a M1 category, two-door, two-seater car with a targa top. The REVA NXG has a range of 200km (125 miles) per charge and a top speed of 130 kph (80 miles per hour). It features the same telematics as the REVA NXR, including REVive and, using the fast charge, it has an effective range of 400 kms (250 miles) a day. This showcar, the REVA NXG, is REVA’s 2011 model and its first showing is at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA). Pricing in Europe excluding batteries is from 23,000 euros plus a monthly mobility fee.

Every REVA NXR and REVA NXG will be Born Green, meaning they will have one of the lowest dust-to-dirt carbon footprints of any car in mass production.

2009 Infiniti G37 Anniversary Art Project Vehicle





Infiniti Canada revealed the Infiniti G37 Anniversary Art Project Vehicle at the 14th Annual Canadian Art Gallery Hop Gala in Toronto. To commemorate Infiniti’s 20th anniversary, Infiniti Canada partnered with Cirque du Soleil(R) to create a one-of-a-kind G37 Sport Coupe. Montreal artist Heidi Taillefer created the design and spent almost one month hand-painting the exterior of the vehicle.

Infiniti’s partner and inspiration for the G Coupe Anniversary design concept, Cirque du Soleil, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and was also present at the unveiling.

Heidi Taillefer was one of several artists asked to submit a design concept for the exterior of the Infiniti G Coupe. No structural changes could be made so the car could remain safe and driveable, and able to be auctioned off for charity at a later date. Heidi’s inspired design “Ligozzi” was ultimately selected and she spent much of August and early September painting the vehicle.

The Anniversary Vehicle will be on tour at various Cirque du Soleil shows and other events over the coming months. The car will eventually be auctioned off for charity. For more information please visit www.infiniti.ca.

2010 TECHART Magnum



In 2009, the Magnum proved the outstanding performance by taking first place at the Tuner Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring race track. TechArt Magnum Porsche Cayenne Turbo is equipped with the 550 bhp of the production vehicle, an aerokit and sports air suspension module, TECHART achieved the winning time of 1:16.939 for the first time in the heavyweight class. At the IAA 2009, TECHART is presenting the current generation of the Magnum, based on the Cayenne Turbo S, complete with increased performance and uncompromising comfort.





The TechArt Magnum Porsche Cayenne Turbo performance package T2.2 increases the overall engine output to 680 hp (500 kW). The maximum torque increases to 900 Nm at 4.200 rpm. This produces some impressive results: from 0 to 100 in 4.2 seconds. From 0 to 200 in 14.5 seconds. The maximum speed of the TECHART Magnum is 308 km/h. The TechArt Magnum Porsche Cayenne Turbo rear apron comes with an integrated diffuser. The two double-flow exhaust pipes of the TECHART stainless steel sports exhaust add a sporty touch to the striking rear of the vehicle. For sporty street use, the TECHART Sport air suspension module lowers the car body by 30 mm. The dynamic appearance is rounded off by the tyres: TECHART Formula and Formula II alloy wheel rims in a classic design from 21 to 23 inches.

2009 Mansory Cyrus

2010 Volvo C30 R-Design



The biggest changes in the new Volvo C30 R-Design, which make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, are actually hidden beneath the skin. The chassis of the 2010 Volvo C30 R-Design is 10 millimeters lower and the steering of the car has been tuned to be more precise. The 2010 Volvo C30 R-Design also comes with stiffer springs, dampers and roll-bars.



The new Volvo C30 R-Design is also equipped with five-spoke Cratus wheels, just like the rest of the R-Design range. The 2010 Volvo C30 R-Design comes with front and rear spoilers, lower door trim moulding, side-skirts and 17-inch wheels. The exterior of the 2010 Volvo C30 R-Design also features various badges, a tailgate spoiler, a new Grille and door mirror housings and chrome-plated sports tailpipes. The interior of the 2010 Volvo C30 R-Design boasts two-tone seats, a leather and aluminum gear knob, and a sports steering wheel. 2010 Volkswagen Golf R



The Volkswagen Golf R equipped with a 2.0 liters TSI four cylinder engine with turbocharging and develops 199 kW / 270 PS at 6,000 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 2,500 rpm.The Volkswagen Golf R can reach a limited top speed of 250 km/h and is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The DSG returns 8.4 litres per 100km in fuel consumption and 195g/km of C02 emissions. The 6-speed manual averages 8.5 litres per 100km and its C02 emissions are 199g/km.





The equipment list of the Volkswagen Golf R includes very large air intakes with high-gloss painted louvers, LED daytime running lights strips, bi-xenon headlights, side skirt extensions, newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels (”Talladega” type) with 225/40 tyres (optional 19-inch version with 235/35 tyres), a rear diffuser and centrally-located twin tailpipes. The front suspension is a McPherson strut layout and the whole thing is lowered by 25mm.

The Volkswagen Golf R can be ordered in Germany starting at the end of this year.

2010 Lotus Elise Club Racer



Lotus has unveiled the Special Edition Lotus Elise Club Racer which is based upon the 134 hp Elise S and goes on sale on 15th September 2009. Lotus has taken four of the classic colour schemes used by Lotus in the 1960s (Elite Yellow, Carbon Grey, Sky Blue and Old English White) and combined them with exclusive Club Racer interior design features to give a stunning sportscar that beautifully morphs function and form.





Other exclusive interior design features of the Club Racer are the anthracite anodised gear knob and handbrake sleeve, the Club Racer (CR) logo hand embroidered on the seat headrest and the unique anodized aluminium flooring in the driver’s and passenger’s footwell. The small 320 mm diameter leather rimmed steering wheel has an on-center marker, enabling the more spirited driver to quickly and safely identify the straight ahead position of the front wheels.

The lightweight six spoke alloy wheels, shod in bespoke Yokohama AD07 LTS tyres are also anthracite anodised, complementing the key interior components.
